This policy sets out the work WarmFlow Solutions Ltd will not take on. It is published rather than kept internal so that nobody spends a call discovering it.
Two things drive it. First, our own standards. Second, the platforms we work with — Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Stripe, PayPal, SumUp, Mollie and others — maintain their own prohibited and restricted category lists. Building you an account that a provider will close within a month serves nobody.
1. Businesses we will not work with
We will decline engagements involving:
- Anything illegal under the law of England and Wales or of the country you operate in
- Sale or distribution of controlled drugs, novel psychoactive substances or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives or components thereof
- Adult content, adult services and escort services
- Gambling, betting, lotteries and related affiliate operations
- Payday lending, debt-relief services, credit repair and advance-fee lending
- Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, matrix schemes and "business opportunity" packages
- Cryptocurrency token sales, mining schemes and trading signal services
- Counterfeit, replica or unlicensed branded goods
- Prescription pharmaceuticals, unapproved medical devices and unlicensed health treatments
- Miracle cures, and any health claim that cannot be substantiated
- Essay mills, exam-taking services and academic fraud
- Hacking tools, credential marketplaces, spyware and services facilitating unauthorised access
- Data broking involving personal data obtained without consent
- Organisations promoting hatred, harassment or violence against a group or an individual
2. Practices we will not carry out
Regardless of the business, we will not:
- Create fake reviews, buy reviews, or write reviews posing as a customer
- Create a Google Business Profile at an address where the business does not actually operate
- Create duplicate listings to occupy more map results than a business is entitled to
- Set up accounts, pages or profiles in the name of a business or person you do not represent
- Use images, logos, text or product photography you have no right to use
- Misstate ownership, qualifications, accreditations or awards
- Configure a payment gateway to disguise the nature of the business from the provider
- Structure a catalog to conceal restricted products from platform review
- Set up systems whose purpose is to send unsolicited bulk messages
- Assist in evading a suspension or ban a platform has already imposed
These are not negotiable, and the fee is not the issue. Review manipulation and fake listings in particular are the fastest way to have a profile permanently removed, which is the opposite of what you would be paying us for.
3. Content standards
Material you provide for use in profiles, posts or catalogs must not:
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property
- Be defamatory, harassing, threatening or deliberately misleading
- Breach the Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code, where it constitutes advertising
- Make health, financial, environmental or performance claims you cannot substantiate
- Contain personal data about anyone who has not consented to its publication
You confirm you hold the rights to everything you send us. If a rights holder contacts us about material supplied by you, we will remove it and tell you.
4. Restricted — possible, with conditions
Some categories are permitted by platforms but heavily conditioned. We can often work in them, but we will check the specific rules before quoting, and the verification timeline is usually longer:
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping and cannabidiol products
- Regulated financial services, insurance and mortgage broking
- Legal, medical, dental and veterinary practices
- Charities and political organisations
- Ticketing, travel and event resale
- Subscription services with automatic renewal
If your business is in this list, tell us at the first conversation. It is rarely a problem; it simply changes what we have to prepare.
5. How we apply this
- We check your category against the relevant platform restrictions before taking any payment. It costs us ten minutes and can save you a fortnight.
- If we decline at that stage, nothing is owed and we will tell you why, plainly.
- If something comes to light after work has started, we will stop, explain, and refund fees for work not yet performed under our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
- Where a platform requires it, or the law requires it, we may be obliged to report certain matters. We will tell you unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
6. Our discretion
We may decline work for reasons not listed here. We are a small company and we choose what we put our name to. If we decline, we will say so promptly and without a lecture, and we will suggest somewhere else to look where we sensibly can.
7. Reporting a concern
If you believe a profile, catalog or account we built breaches this policy, tell us at contact@warmflowsolutions.uk. Include the URL and what you think is wrong. We investigate every report and respond within five working days.
